BEIJING, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) — Yu Luming, former vice chairman of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese language Individuals’s Political Consultative Convention, has been indicted on fees of taking bribes, the Supreme Individuals’s Procuratorate (SPP) mentioned in a press release on Sunday.
Yu was accused of taking undue benefit of his positions to hunt income for others, and illegally accepting an unlimited sum of money and valuables in return.
The Nationwide Fee of Supervision had concluded its probe into Yu’s case. Upon the designation of the SPP, the Zhangjiakou Municipal Individuals’s Procuratorate in Hebei Province reviewed the case and initiated a public prosecution in opposition to Yu on the Intermediate Individuals’s Courtroom of Zhangjiakou.
The prosecutors had knowledgeable the defendant of his litigation rights, interrogated him, and listened to the protection counsel’s opinions. ■
