The Authorities of Newfoundland and Labrador has reached a tentative settlement with the Canadian Union of Public Workers (CUPE) on seven collective agreements representing public service workers throughout schooling, well being care and social assist sectors. These agreements are topic to ratification by over 3,500 CUPE members from throughout the province.
The tentative agreements embody:
- Hospital Assist;
- Faculty Boards 1560;
- Faculty Boards Grasp;
- Provincial Data and Libraries Board;
- Authorities Home;
- Group Properties/Transition Homes; and
- Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Company.
CUPE will probably be presenting these tentative agreements to its membership within the coming weeks. Particulars on the agreements will probably be launched upon ratification.
