The Medical Payment Committee is comprised of seven voting members appointed by the administrator. Three members characterize the medical supplier business, three members characterize the employees’ compensation insurance coverage business, and the medical director serves as the ultimate member of the committee. The committee shall hear disputes on medical invoice funds between suppliers and insurers and advise the administrator on points referring to the medical payment schedule and medical care value containment within the employees’ compensation system.
