Miami, August 10, 2023 – Miami Dade Faculty (MDC) welcomes MDC alum and former Main League Baseball participant Alex Fernandez as the brand new Senior Advisor to MDC Athletics.
An MDC alum, Fernandez pitched for the Chicago White Sox (1990–96) and Florida Marlins (1997, 1999–2000) throughout his 11-year Main League Baseball profession. He led the Miami Marlins to their first-ever World Collection championship.
