LONDON, Nov 20 (Reuters) – Bedeo mentioned on Monday that former Renault (RENA.PA) and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) CEO Thierry Bollore has joined the British electrical car provider’s advisory board as a strategic advisor.
In September, Bedeo, which makes electrical powertrains for vans for world No. 3 automaker Stellantis (STLAM.MI), launched a service to transform 1000’s of diesel vans to electrical hybrids.
That enterprise is launching initially in France to make the most of authorities subsidies for retrofitting fossil-fuel fashions.
After serving as CEO of Renault after the arrest of former CEO Carlos Ghosn in 2018, Bollore spent two years as CEO of Tata Motors (TAMO.NS) unit JLR earlier than stepping down in late 2022 citing private causes.
In a press release, Bollore mentioned he was “trying ahead to sharing my data with (Bedeo) in assist of pursuing the corporate’s mission” to affect transportation.
