The justice advisor for the soon-to-close Northern Eire-Co-operation Abroad (NI-CO), who oversaw baby justice reform in Bahrain, has been recognised with an MBE within the Abroad and Worldwide New Yr Honours Checklist.
Paula Jack joined the NI-CO, a part of financial improvement company Make investments NI, in 2014 and has led initiatives on the reform of kid justice techniques in Bahrain. Her work has included the institution of a commissioner for youngsters’s rights – the primary within the area.

Ms Jack mentioned: “I’m honoured to be given an MBE in recognition of my work as justice advisor with NI-CO during the last 9 years. It has been my privilege to work internationally to reform baby justice and safety techniques.
